Plans and reflections on integration of Ukrainian refugees in Basel

The Ukrainian refugee crisis started as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24th, 2022.
As of February 6th, 2023, there are more than 4 million Ukrainian refugees (registered) in Europe, 78 888 of them in Switzerland.

Ukrainian refugees settled in all of the 26 Swiss cantons.
Data shows, as of January 31st, 2023, there are 1’850 Ukrainian refugees in the Canton of Basel-City (BS).
